In 8-10 years the Country will be battling crippling austerity and deep soul searching regarding the difference between decadence and progress and Tebow will be a huge part of the discussion. He’s traveled the world in missionary works, can speak to the less fortunate unlike Mitt Romney and his athletic background gives him a comfort level with Black Folks that frankly most Super Pacs can’t buy. He won’t have to make Jacksonville a powerhouse, merely “pound the rock” with Maurice Jones –Drew and bring enthusiasm to a fan base that loves Football. Gator Nation will come out, Private Conservative Business’s (like Focus on The Family) will take the gloves off and pump money into advertising a franchise that is currently marked for relocation. Don’t be surprised to see Tebow next to Marco Rubio next year ushering in a groundswell of support for a New, Younger, and more charismatic Conservative movement. He’s charming enough to get support from the more toxic elements of the Republican Party and toss the pigskin around with Obama (who called him a “wonderful young man”) without fear of reprisal. In fact, his birth in the Philippines will be embraced and waived via a campaign led by the same people who still want to frisk our current President. Like Obama he’ll transcend his packaging, and put a likable face on all of the social tenants Christian Conservatives refuse to take a compromise on and it will work. Football is the American Game, the SEC is the most popular conference, and Tebow is the one Christian Right Wing symbol America can find palatable. Jessie Ventura was voted a Governor of his home state and when Peirce Morgan (Corporate shill) tried to belittle him on his show recently Ventura let him know that Wrestling is the PERFECT prep school for Politics. Pro Football media coverage is just as rabid and demanding as Politics (see how he snake charmed the NY media) and Quarterbacks are more accountable for their play than Politicians who regulate your life.ESPN is worth Billions, and Tebow is getting the coverage because statistically they’ve found that he drives the needles and profits. Tebow’s Q Rating is so high you have to put him in a Political Context so don’t be surprised if he’s the first Senate Candidate to receive the same treatment from ESPN that Obama received from MSNBC. There isn’t a Mega Corporation is this Country that isn’t a Political Entity; once you’re worth billions you become too big to even be subjected to free market principles because there is a different set of rules for monopolies just ask Apple. Tim Tebow hired agents and representatives that manage the affairs of Pop Culture icons, and these people know how to take a figure renowned in one segment of the population and broaden his appeal. The Dates with Pop Stars who don’t share his beliefs or values are cynically designed to get him “face time” with the secularist and celebrity watchers, people who don’t even know he plays Football. New York was beneficial, because good Politicians are skilled at going into areas where they have zero support, scraping up votes and “crossing the aisle”- a lost art to Republicans nowadays. Tim Tebow won’t have to lie about athletic feats like Paul Ryan, nor was he an average High School “hooper” like Obama; he’s got a freaking Heisman Trophy! If machismo, virility and masculinity didn’t matter in Politics Scott Brown (Massachusetts) wouldn’t have just jumped off of a magazine poster and Kennedy would have lost his debate to Nixon in 1960-it matters just ask your wife or girlfriend. Female Voters killed Mitt Romney and it wasn’t just about the “War on Women”. “It could be in my future” he’s already said it, what we are witnessing (with Football) is merely a “first act” in what can turn out to be a long life of public service. The Quarterback position is the one position in pro sports considered “Presidential” and Tebow isn’t good at it, and yet a recent poll ranked him above men 10 years his senior as most suitable for the Oval Office. Republican Primary Candidates begged for his endorsement and he’s already a better public speaker than the last two men to vie for the White House. So don’t allow any of this NY Jets mess to fool you, Tebow is a missionary and he isn’t meant to be around for 10 years getting into frivolous QB squabbles-he's got much bigger fish to fry and you know it.
